At this time, we are accepting books BY APPOINTMENT ONLY. Please do not bring books without scheduling in advance.

BOOK INTAKE GUIDELINES:
While we love books, we can't accept everything. We are unable to take:
— Books in poor condition (damaged, moldy, water-damaged, strong smoke smell, broken spines, etc.)
— Magazines or National Geographic
— Dictionaries / Encyclopedias
— VHS or cassette tapes
— Textbooks
— Outdated travel or technical books
— Books marked from public, school, or little free libraries
— Reader's Digest Condensed Books
— Used colouring books or battery-operated children's books
PLEASE NOTE: WE DO NOT OFFER TRADES, MONEY, OR EXCHANGES.
COMMUNICATION & BOUNDARIES
To keep things running smoothly:
— Keep all communication clear, respectful, and related to the business
— I receive a high volume of messages — please allow time for a response
— AFTER HOURS IS MY PERSONAL TIME — please do not message my personal account on social media. You will be blocked.
— I will respond during business hours
— This is a one-person operation
— Disrespectful or inappropriate behaviour may result in messages being ignored or blocked
— Please do not arrive without an appointment

IN-STORE EXPECTATIONS
Please be mindful and respectful while in the shop:
If I am working — pricing, sorting, shelving, or using my phone for research, identifying books, messaging, or calls — I may not be able to engage right away.
While this is a friendly bookshop, I AM NOT AVAILABLE TO SOCIALIZE DURING BUSINESS HOURS .
— Interactions should remain appropriate and focused on the shop
— No talking about religion or politics!
— Personal or unrelated conversations, or distractions during work time, take away from running the business .
